Biography
As a Gulf War Navy Veteran, Franklin served eight years as a communicator for both surface and sub-surface vessels. He received two Navy Achievement Medals and was nominated as Shore Sailor of the Year. He credits his professional career and commitment to serve a larger community to the foundational training provided to him during the Naval career. After the Navy, Franklin became a seasoned technologist with more than 22 years of corporate experience. He has participated in two IPO’s and delivered more than ten applications to market. He has studied at Moody Bible Institute, Penn State and MIT.
knowRX, Inc., launched in 2019, is a Personalized Medication Management Platform that addresses hospital readmissions and medication non-adherence related to side-effects. knowRX clinical operations make effective use of medical services and provide in real-life drug performance analytics. knowRX improves patient care one encounter at a time. knowRX has been recognized as a Top 50 BuiltInAustin Startups to Watch, SXSW Innovation Award Finalist and Established.US Startup of the Year.
