“In 2019, we [Regions Bank], were given the opportunity to sponsor Funded House during SXSW and chose to do so at a basic partnership level. This was the first time Funded House had a presence at SXSW and we were working with limited information as to how much success John and his team would have. Our initial sponsorship was based on the expectation that Funded House would generate an audience of founders and entrepreneurs of funded companies, venture capital firms and other members of the capital community. In 2020, we renewed and upped our sponsorship and partnership to a much more significant level. We elected to pursue a partnership like this because John and team did exactly what they said they were going to do and executed on their mission so effectively in 2019. The benefits to our organization are significant and primarily a function of the community of founders and entrepreneurs of funded companies and the capital community that supports them. This is an audience that we could not replicate ourselves. The team at Funded House (MediaTech) has the relationships, contacts and reputation of curating the right content to attract the audience that is so important to our brand (investment banking, specialty finance like technology, media and communications banking advisory/capital). We are very fortunate to be partnered with Funded House and Media Tech in such an important endeavor such as SXSW 2020 and very much appreciate the work of John and team in our 2+ year partnership.”
